It is 1909. The residents of Eternal Springs, Indiana, have gathered at Hemlock & Hemlock Funeral Services for the funeral of one of the town’s most familiar figures.
Herbert Hemlock is dead.
For decades, Herbert quietly tended to the departed of Eternal Springs from the family funeral home bearing his name. He was respected, private, particular—and perhaps not as well known as everyone believed.
Family, old acquaintances, rivals, neighbors, and curious members of the community have come to pay their respects. The circumstances surrounding Herbert’s death have already raised questions. And as the service begins, it becomes clear that nearly everyone in the room has something they would rather keep buried.
Then the funeral takes an unexpected turn—and the evening becomes something else entirely.
Someone knows the truth. Will you uncover it before the night is over?
Become Part of the Story
You won’t just watch the mystery unfold. You’ll step into it as one of the guests, with a character of your own: a personal history, relationships, objectives, and secrets to keep.
No acting experience is needed. Come ready to meet the other mourners, follow the whispers, ask questions, and decide what to reveal—and what to keep to yourself. You’ll receive your character assignment and introductory information by email before the event. New objectives, clues, and role-specific materials will emerge as the evening unfolds.
And remember: This is a funeral. Please try to behave accordingly.

Costumes Encouraged, Not Required
Guests are encouraged to dress for a funeral in 1909 Eternal Springs. Victorian and Edwardian mourning wear, dark suits, black dresses, hats, veils, waistcoats, and period-inspired accessories are welcome. Historical accuracy is not required.
Reservations
Advance registration is required. Tickets are $45 per guest or $40 for Mythos Collective members. Character assignments will be emailed before the event so you have time to get acquainted with your role.
Space is limited to preserve the intimate, interactive experience. Reserve your place among the mourners.
